SUMMER STUDY OPPORTUNITIES

I. Everyone is invited to attend a 4-Day Session from Wednesday, August 25th, to Sunday, August 29th, 2010, at Far Horizons Camp in the Sierras to study the writings of H. P. Blavatsky.

We will examine the basic structure of The Secret Doctrine and then read and discuss the Proem, and other materials, using The Key to Theosophy and The Voice of the Silence as support texts. Different strategies and perspectives on studying will be shared.

Study classes focused on HPB's writings bring together students of various backgrounds in a "one-room schoolhouse" where the kaleidoscope of different minds and hearts work together to illumine these great teachings. The session includes brief talks, reading, discussion, and quiet time in "Great Nature" to assimilate and refresh.
